Ramadan and Eid is all about spirituality and gatherings. Food is also a pretty important centerpiece in the month of Ramadan whether we are cooking, eating, or sharing it. Most of it happens at the dinner table, and we wanted to create some table setting inspo to make your gatherings a little more fresh.
We found this printed kitchen linen with the cutest camel print, and it was the inspiration for the whole look. The fun and bold color of the linen, meant that we could downplay the table ware, but we kept the gold flatware for a chic touch. We opted for a lush and organic runner of ruscus rather than florals and we think it is the perfect amount of freshness. A modern geometic brass and gold lantern pulled in the feeling of the month with the lit candle. Lastly, a hand written placecard on watercolor paper with a blush tone, ties the whole place setting together!
This look is pretty modern, and much different than a classic Ramadan or Eid spread! We meshed the traditional elements with modern flair for this look, and we think it’s a winner. All the details for these items are at the end of this post.
Tell us what you think, and one Eid tradition of yours in the comments!
